About me:
I am happily married (17 years) and have one teenage son, who I'm happy to say, is a pretty great kid, and one HUGE german shepherd who eats like a horse, but is gentle as a lamb. I love to cook, hate clean-up, love to craft just about anything, and love to garden (hate to pull weeds!), love my family and friends, and am a nut for animals!

Three Bean and Artichoke Salad

Reviewed on Jul. 1, 2008 by Lindsay J.
I made this recipe for a recent BBQ i attended, and the salad was a hit! I just swapped roasted red peppers for the artichokes because they were not at my grocery store. Very light and not sweet, like typical bean salads are. I even got a compliment from one person, saying he loved it because it did not have too many kidney beans in it, like other bean salads he had tried. I would defintiely make this simple, easy, fast recipe again!

Absolute Best Potato Casserole

Reviewed on Apr. 10, 2008 by accsp2000
I used 3/4 cup montery jack cheese, and 1/2 cup asiago which created a tangy flavor to the potato. I also added 1 tsp.white pepper and 1 tsp garlic powder to give it a kick. Sampling the cheese sauce itself was almost enough for me. Try topping it with Frenches fried onions.
